Hello, I am looking for interested divers from Mecosta,Osceola, Wexford. Newaygo and Montcolm counties as well as anyone who is within an hour drive of Big Rapids.who would like to either help form and or join a local dive club based out of Big Rapids or surrounding area. I have a few ideas and am looking for input from others on how to get a club going. I Am PADI advanced ow, with 40 dives, I will be taking Ice diving training in February. I am working with the Center for Land Use interpretation on an exhibit of communities submerged under reservoirs. Looking for a dive buddy. I was certified in 95 with PADI. I have never dove with someone other than on boat dives out of Florida. I pastor a church so Sundays is out for me. I am looking for a SAFE dive buddy. I am not interested in exploits just sensible dives.

I dive the local areas - Devil's Lake as well as Wazee, Michigan etc. I generally dive with a group of friends who have been diving together for a few years in this area and on trips. PADI Open Water: I've been in an around the water most of my life, but just recently received my open water certification. I have a sailboat (Ranger 29') on Lake Travis that I've been using as a dive platform to visit hard-to-get-to locations.
